Let ChatGPT work with files on your Windows PC

ChatGPT can read and edit files on your Windows PC through a custom MCP connector. Only the folder you choose is reachable.

• In PowerShell: irm https://wecommander.app/install.ps1 | iex, then approve the device and choose a folder such as C:\Users\you\WECOMMANDER.
• In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → create a custom connector with https://wecommander.app/mcp (OAuth).
• Ask ChatGPT to summarise, search or edit documents in that folder; Word, Excel and PDF files can be read too.
• Deleting or moving files and running commands wait for your approval; edits keep undo snapshots.
